LeiaSR SDK Documentation

Learn how to build stunning 3D software for LeiaSR devices on Android and Windows.

What is the LeiaSR Platform?

LeiaSR is the world's leading ecosystem for 3D displays. Using the LeiaSR SDK you can build Android and Windows apps either through native development or through Unity or Unreal Engine that have full support for the LeiaSR platform and it's features, including industry-leading stereoscopic 3D visuals.

Description of the LeiaSR Platform

LeiaSR devices are devices with 3D displays that license LeiaSR technology. These devices have both a 3D display as well as an FPC firmware chip which manages the display calibration data and controls the switching between 2D mode and 3D mode. The LeiaSR Runtime is software that runs on LeiaSR devices and manages the connection between the LeiaSR 3D display and 3D Applications.

3D Applications are apps that are built with the LeiaSR SDK through the native LeiaSR SDK or the LeiaSR Plugins for Unity or Unreal.

NeurD is Leia's Neural Depth AI which can convert 2D media into 3D in real-time. It's optional with LeiaSR devices and 3D Applications. To learn more, go here: NeurD SDK

The LeiaSR NeurD SDK is licensed seperately from the LeiaSR SDK and LeiaSR Platform Apps so it can be used on non-LeiaSR devices. Because of that, it's documented seperately from the LeiaSR SDK. You can find the NeurD SDK Documentation here: NeurD SDK
