This is how you set up your Unity development environment for developing LeiaSR™ applications.
What are the dev environment requirements for the LeiaSR™ Plugin for Unity?
Development can be done in the Unity Editor on either MacOS or Windows, though we recommend using Windows.
The LeiaSR™ Unity Plugin is supported for Unity 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and later LTS versions.
For LeiaSR™ Windows Application Development: To ensure compatibility, download and install the latest LeiaSR™ Platform, version 1.30.2, available at
For LeiaSR™ Android Application Development: To ensure compatibility, update LeiaDisplayConfig and LeiaFaceTracking to the latest available versions, which can be found on the Leia Appstore on your LeiaSR™ device or the primary 3D app store on LeiaSR™ licensees' devices. For the development of LeiaSR™ Android apps, we recommend targeting Lume Pad 2 to ensure your app runs on all supported LeiaSR Android devices.
Which LeiaSR™ devices does the Unity Plugin support?
This plugin can be used to develop content on any supported LeiaSR™ device running Android or Windows, except the two legacy devices RED Hydrogen One and the original Lume Pad (2020).
